I have been doing big work this last year, letting go of the trauma from my past. Not continuing on in pain and choosing joy instead. This is showing up in my relationship with my mother, which I never thought would need to change. I have created boundaries that sustain me now, that allow me to rest in my body indefinitely, no longer going on alert whenever we converse.

For the fellow ones with quite complicated mothers. This is my story of healing by recognizing what is in 10 pages. And allowing in all of my feelings. Even the ones that don’t fit the “good girl” archetype.

This is a real account of my memories and what I am doing with them now (listening deeply).
